Renaissance Alchemy: Egg & Gold

Exhibit Dates: December 16, 2025 – April 12, 2026

Join us on a journey back to the 15th century and explore the artistic traditions of the Renaissance period through the contemporary works of Sandy Thibeault. Her paintings utilize the same ancient techniques and alchemical processes of egg tempera paints and gold leaf used by the great masters. Embodying traditional Renaissance aesthetics, Thibeault’s portraits and still lifes are intimate in both scale and focus combining realism with fifteenth-century aesthetics.
